USING AYURVEDIC SPICES FOR HEALTH

  • The importance of spices to your health and digestion
  • Demonstrations on how to use different spices in your cooking
  • Benefits of the different spices
  • Lunch will be provided

Lini Mazumdar returns to DGB or a fun, and tasty class on using Indian spices for cooking and for our general well-being in the winter.   We will taste and learn about a few spices that are good for our digestion, a fresh basic, must-have fresh spice blend, how to make ghee, and an Ayurvedic milk for restful sleep.  You will receive recipes to take home. 

Lini is a professional cook, Ayurvedic Nutritional Counselor and Certified Herbalist. She has taught Indian Cooking classes and Ayurveda for many years in the southern Vermont area.  She lives in South Londonderry, VT on Anjali Farm with her family.  www.anjalifarm.com
