Class Descriptions

BEGINNER TAI CHI

THURSDAYS 7 PM, starting May 2

Taught by Djemila Cavanaugh, come to discover and share a soft and grounding practice to improve alignment, balance and prevent or relieve postural pains; reduce stress, and strengthen legs and core muscles. Available to all levels.

ADVANCED TAI CHI

YOGA CLASSES

TUESDAYS at 4:30 PM and SATURDAYS AT 9 AM

AERIAL YOGA

SATURDAYS at 10:30 AM

Decompress and lengthen the spine to take your yoga to a deeper level with traditional mat yoga poses and postures fully or partially suspended in the air by a soft silk hammock.

 

INDOOR CYCLE

Ready to give indoor cycling a spin? Prepare to drip with sweat, get your blood pumping, and want to come back for more. Indoor cycling classes help you shed fat, improve your heart health, and boost your muscle endurance. Your legs will get a serious workout. By the end of class, you’ll have a steady stream of feel-good brain chemicals called endorphins. Bikes are limited so pre-registration is a must.

BOOTCAMP

EARLY BIRD SURPRISE WORKOUT

FRIDAYS at 6 AM

Get ready to sweat for a workout that will leave you feeling challenged and engaged – worth getting up early for!

 

BARRE

MONDAYS at 5:15 PM, TUESDAYS at 3:30 PM, THURSDAYS at 7:00 AM

Runs for about 50 minutes. This is a high energy fusion of pilates, yoga, ballet and light weight training that is fun and empowering set to today's hottest music. Classes begin with a warm up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by a series of upper body exercises using light weights. The ballet barre is used to sculpt the lower body, abs and for flexibility training. This workout is good for all body types as it tones, strengthens and sculpts different muscle groups.
